Security Officer is the primary contact for all communication regarding
privacy, security, and ethics for Dallas / Collin County CoC Data Systems Project at this agency.

This person will be responsible for:
- Providing a primary single point of communication between the partner agency and CoC Data Systems administrator
- Ensuring the stability of the agency's connection to the Internet and to the CoC Data Systems software solution either directly or through communication with other technical professionals
- Ensuring all CoC Data Systems end-users receive the necessary training
- Monitoring compliance with standards of client confidentiality and ethical data collection, entry, and retrieval
- Receiving and disseminating information and reports from CoC Data Systems team to all proper parties within the agency
- Monitoring compliance with standards of data security, including anti-virus on any workstation that accesses CoC Data Systems, the firewall on any networks, and weekly system scans
- Monitoring agency users to ensure client Personal Protected Information (PPI) is only shared over the internet following security measures detailed by the Housing Forward Privacy, Security, and Ethics training
- Communicate to the appropriate Data System Lead(s) when end users need to be removed from the CoC Data Systems upon termination of employment from the CHO
- Ensure Privacy Posting is posted and visible to all clients
